The local village of Rudston boasts of the unique monolith in the Church yard which Britain’s tallest free-standing stone.
Not far away is the bustling seaside town of Bridlington complete with shops, restaurants, entertainment and of course, clean sandy beaches.
For bird lovers, there is the famous Bempton Cliffs where you can find Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills and nesting in early summer.
Historical houses and gardens nearby include Sledmere House, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall and, a bit further away, is Castle Howard.
